English is a funny language, what do you think?

??? Where did you hear that from, or do you you personally think it's funny? I don't think it's funny myself, since I do speak it. What is your primary language?

Not really. Although if I wasn't English I probably would. I've always found the German language to be funny and I honestly can't help be laugh at someone who speaks it. (This doesn't have anything to do with the wars) I'm not one of brits who find issues with Germans. as they are very friendly people compared to what we are lead to believe. Doesn't matter what language it every one as a spot of humour inside. although it's something which isn't just funny like some believe. Kudos, ~Joey

Well I do not find it funny but find it an important language that makes us connect to the world. As we know this language so are we able to be a part of forums like mylot.

I find german is funnier but to my mind english is the easiest language I know. Moreover it is spoken everywhere in the world, thus it is easy to communicate!! That's why I like this language.

I don't know about funny, but it's not an easy language to learn in my oppinion. English is the only language I know. I think to learn English as a second language would be hard to learn. Take an example why is PHONE not spelled FONE ? This is just an example.
