Absolute happiness really exists but just as one respondent says it does not exist here on Earth. Nonetheless, you can look forward to such happiness when you are able to be victorious in this life and be an heir to God's promise of eternal life with Him and His Son. For the mean time, as you live your life on Earth you will have to be steadfast in faith and have to overcome, bear and persist all the trials, tragedies, and sufferings this life brings, with God's strength, guidance and help. Having hurdled these in life, your reward of eternal life afterwards will overshadow the past agonies and sufferings this life wrought.

There is no absolute happiness, only silence. Happiness itself is a concept we create in our minds to get rid of existential problems, is an illusion in reality is just a state of reaction to external factors, depending on how we perceive reality, and the environment in which live, to each of us happiness varies from person to person and is manifested by the momentary lack of any desire or purpose to be achieved in that time overwhelming and enough time, but once used to achieve that goal that they lose value, and our need to feel that feeling of fulfillment and contentment, will be the same or even stronger. Then mean that the very pursuit of happiness brings unhappiness. When we learn that there is happiness, nor misery, mental notions are just caused by our need to customize it themselves, to label any feelings or mental reaction. Happiness and unhappiness is because of its search itself, or run it for unhappiness.

no doubt.. happiness truly exists but in my opinion, none of us would be absolutely happy.. most of the time we may feel happy but time will always come that we feel down and depressed.. but those things are important because that would help us define what HAPPINESS truly is.. and that adds color to our life...

I think there may be such a thing as "absolute happiness," but I think many people operate under the mistaken impression that we can-- somehow-- make it permanent and "ours." I think perfect happiness exists only as fleeting moments of perfection, and then life moves on to something else. If we work too hard to get it, then it becomes more difficult to reach... seems like most of my happiest moments have come when I really wasn't working or planning for them to happen.

Absolute happiness is possible if life is simplified. As we go on reducing our need happiness goes on increasing. There are certain factors like family, government, legal which come in between. As we take on simple life our level of happiness increases. As everybody starts knowing that this person is a simple person, and this person has no money, other people and government and thieves and legal people does not find anything to harass this person. So on and so forth, this person move towards absolute happiness. It is very easy.
