Today i was watching the 5 o' clock news and there was this teenager in Texas who was watching his sister's 2 boys a 5yr. old and a 2yr. old. they had this on video, him and his friend (the teenagers were 17 & 18) and they were teaching the boys how to smoke pot!!! the 5 yr. old was walking around with rolled one in his hand (i dont know the name of the rolls as i dont smoke) smoking it!! and the 17 yr old was holding on to one and letting the 2yr old smoke it!! that just makes me sick how someone could do that. both boys are in jail right now i believe and the mother was had some dental work done was taking a nap after taking some pain meds, wasnt charged with anything, yet. that is just so sad. the kids are with child serveces right now.

Wow that is really awful! I can't believe those boys thought it was cool to give a 5 and 2 yr old pot.. it isn't even "cool" for them. I think they should be in jail for a long time something could of happened to those poor babies. Why don't people think?

My husband just told me about this when he came home. There are so many things wrong with the entire situation I don't even know where to start. First of all, if you're brother smokes pot, why would you let him and his 17 or 18 year old friend watch your children? (and I'm sorry but if you're brother smokes it, as his sister, you know it) Secondly, why on earth would they videotape something like this? If you're brother is that stupid, why would you let him watch your kids? Is it possible she really didn't know he was a pothead and an idiot?! Those boys should definitely be in jail for a long amoutn of time. If you want to endanger your own life, that's one thing, but to give it to children, wow, you obviously have no sense whatsoever! My parents would have killed me long before the police caught me.

WHAT??? I did not see this report. These idiots recorded it? Well I am glad they did or else some attorney would have probably gotten them off. Good for them. Are the kids ok? After re-reading this like 10 times it has me wondering if these teens smoked pot in the house before. Well I guess there will be an extensive investigation done. A 2 and 5 year old, how can anyone do such a thing to these babies?

this is indeed unbelievable. both the 18 and 17 years old boys must be high. They shouldn't even be smoking this stuff. THis is very sad because it very much affects the welfare of both the 5 and 2 year old kids.

That is beyond revolting! Honestly its like you dont know who you can trust, which if your friends or family members may do something that gross, and dangerous to little kids! Frankly im glad that my childs only babysitter is his grandma's because stuff like that scares me. I would hate to leave my kids with a babysitter.. But there are a few i trust, cousins in my family who have sons of their own.. ( 7 sons total between the 3 of us, no girls, we seem not to be girl baby makers) They are the only people i would trust to watch my kids,Because i know how they are raising their own kids.. That is so sad... Even though the mom didnt do it they took the kids? I dont know if thats right or not, hopefully if she is free and clear she can get her kids back after they investigate. And if she isnt.. well then she deserves to loose her kids.

I also don't smoke and this is only due to management maintained by guardians.

I read about this yesterday as well, but the boy filming was just 14, I do belive that it is a bad story and that the boys of today really need to be more educated in life. I know for sure that I would never even considering doing this to a child and that should be the general opinion!

I usually overgeneralize in jest, but it seems applicable in this instance... what GOOD has come out of Texas? Apparently their children have nothing better to do than to mess up their next generation... We really should just sever them from our country and let them drive themselves to oblivion.

I'm glad to hear that both stupid boys are in jail right now....!!!!! I'm speechless How can a mother let this happen... I'm sure in some way she could have seen it coming...I hope now that enough people hear about it it won't happen again in the future..xx

I completely agree! I do believe the mother had to have some sort of idea this was going on in her own house. It's hard to stomach that there are people who would do such harmful things to children.

Yes I heard about this, I think it was on the news, I was in the kitchen at the time and I heard the report going out, I went into the lounge to watch and I was totally horrified, this is like something out of a nightmare, or some horrible movie, I don't expect this to happen in real life.

thats just so awefull man. These days the teenagers just donot know their limits. They can go to any extent to extract fun. Really they should be punished nicely for this act. Man HOw can a person just do these things t such innocent kids who aren't even teens... man for God's sake they are just 2yrs and 5yrs old, how could they do such horrible things. Teaching them to smoke at this age is like teaching them to die before they even started living. Seriously awefull!!

You know, I've said this before and no doubt I'll say it again at some point, but just when I think I've seen/read/heard it all, something like this happens and proves me wrong. What on earth were these boys thinking? Did they not realize that what they were doing was wrong on so many levels? Well obviously not, but still. I'm a little curious though as to how the mother COULD be charged with anything. She was asleep and played no part in this. Thats also why I don't understand why the kids are in the care of the child services. That would make a lot more sense to me if the mother had played some part in this whole scenario. I guess some of the answers we'll never know
