Help! Shinier hair with itchy scalp...

Have you ever had a problem on how to maintain a manageable shiny hair? I have been using Pantene shampoo and conditioner eversince on my hair. I liked it and love the smell but the problem is that my hair became dry. Even if I put too much conditioner...still when it dries...it is dried, lol. Now I switch to Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner again. My hair is more shinier and managaeable but the problem is that my scalp got itchy. I hate it! I love how it works on my hair but how about my scalp? Please help...I just don't know what to use anymore... Thanks!
