For some reason, when I am really upset I tend to turn to "things from the chip asile" at the supermarket. This can range from any multitude of chip flavors, to chex mix, to my favorite Funyuns. I also like cheetos. I guess something about the cruchy salty goodness of these snacks makes me think of parties, hanging out with frends, and other fun times. Starches are also a big comfort food, pasta, potatoes, rice...when it's really cold out and I am feeling down in the dumps those things are pretty comforting. Oh! And peanut butter...or even better dipping chocolate things (pieces of a chocolate bar, chocolate cookies, or M&M's) directly into the peanut butter jar. This used to be my favorite pity snack in my college days.

I wish I knew a story to go with any of my comfort foods, but I don't. My comfort foods are things that are starchy - creamy and starchy even better. Home made macaroni and cheese, hot buttered biscuits, or homemade bread, new england clam chowder, mashed potatoes, baked potatos steaming hot with butter or sour cream and chives.... maybe it is because starches fill the stomach with warmth and satiaty?

COMFORT FOOD --- any kind of food could be on this classification but for me... it would be ice cream, chocolates specifically reeses peanut butter cups, kisses, sneakers and hershey's cookies and cream choocolate bar, pasta and JIF peanut butter... just munch in to those... well ice cream is common most probably because is creamy and it cools you down... i can also remeber that one time back in grade school my dad got mad at me just because i stay out late, past my curfew without any valid reason, he confronted me and hit me hard i cried after but i know he did mean it, i lock my self in my room until dinner, dont have plans eating dinner that time because of what happen but my dad knocks on my door for us to eat dinner and after he mention that be bought ice cream for me... chocolates its sweet and my grandfather usually give me those he loves chocolates too, if he wont allow me to play outside when i was still young he would instead give me chocolates... pasta, i love pasta... maybe because now i just have to eat and satisfy my self if ever im feeling down... and JIF peanut butter i just love it... ill just lock my room and either watch television or read something while eating peanut butter ill forget anything LOL...

Let me think . . . I would have to say Taco Salads with lots of cheese and sour cream. I also crave french fries when I'm having a bad day! I like hard candy as well.

I love peanut butter, just having it in my mouth all creamy and yummy, it haves me smile just thinking about it!! And I like eating mac & cheese too, it makes me feel like a little kid again because we always had mac & cheese when I was little.

When I am feeling really down, I really don't want food, but when I am nervous about something or something is bothering me, I tend to really feed my nerves. I like to eat anything spicy. that could range from a taco, burrito, pizza, taco salad and nachos. I can't eat that type of food and never be full. I can eat and still crave it when there is noneleft to eat. I love mexican food and I could eat it every day. I'm not much into sweets any more, but I used to indulge on it before I became so addicted to mexican food.
