Sometimes I feel that this world is simply a disgusting place and if I'm living in it, it's only just out of a sense of reponsibility towards my parents and towards the family which I'll be having in the future. But is there any justification why people should go on to live on upto that age when all physical charm is lost, when the whole body screams with protest if you try to take a hasty step, when life itself seems grey and useless, when all desires die and if anything remains, it is only a painful nostalgia, the shimmering memories of distant past, where we won't be able to go back ever again? I feel personally that on losing all the powers of independent existence, man should give up his life. It's better to sleep peacefully and not see this rotten world again. What do you feel?

that's a scary way to think of about life... even though personally i do not want to live until the age where i can not even control my actions.. but there is more to life than all the rotten things that has been happening now... they may be right in front of your eyes and you missed it.. give life a chance.. let it show you how beautiful it can be.. you'll see..

hhmm it hink this is like run away situation and cowardness... life is very precious and we should use it i positive way... if we cant help others or stop these nasty violance or rotten world then atleast we can make our selves better... and if everyother person think in that way and think about betterment then this world would be in peace. nevertheless one should have to live his life lively and atleast play his part trufully.

We tend to view life through the filter of our experiences so it sounds like you've had some pretty rough times. I've had a lot of terrible things happen to me in my life but honestly I cherish each day because it's a gift. What we do with that gift is up to us. I'm not sure why you see the world as such a rotten place or what is going on in your life to make you feel this way. I'm also not sure what you mean by the age when "all physical charm is lost". Do you mean old age? Do you think that all elderly people are miserable? If that's the case then you're wrong, there are plenty of elderly people who live vibrant and happy lives even if their bodies have slowed down or they are experiencing physical pains. I don't see the world as rotten, I always see hope around the corner and know that I have things to offer people. Based on the tone of your post I'd seriously recommend you getting a screening for depression if you haven't already. It sounds like you need some help and support.

Life can be tricky sometimes that you were running out of options about what to do. You're not alone in facing this kind of situation, abhi. But this world is not disgusting. Disgusting means murder, rape, robbery and so on. You may be facing some problems right now. Try to open up your eyes a little wider and focus yourself into thinking what you must do. I don't know if you're a religious person. But having one can greatly help us understand about the real purpose of life.
