think of growing old, having white hairs, being slow... if you have kids, think that they have their own families and having not enough time or money for oldies like you since they have their own priorities.... are you prepared for the daily expenses including meals, utilities, etc? do you have investments or pension plans that can sustain your living expenses? do you have someone to take care of you when you're old like a caregiver? just think of yourself when your old...

The part of world where i am from namely pakistan, we have a tradition here that when the parents become old they are cared for by their children! we mostly have a joint family system here where the children specially sons even after getting married live with their parents. But in any case ever since i have had a job and this is my dad's teaching, i always leave around 20% of my salary in my bank account for future! i will keep doing this as long as i am able bodied and on job and hopefully will have accumulated enough for my old age! plus there is my provident fund that is accumulating with the company i work for and my pension plan! i think when the time comes these would sustain my living expenses quiet nicely :)

Well for my future I am accumulating an amount whose interest will take care of my every expense. Besides that I have chosen some hobbies which will keep me busy in my older age. I feel i will keep working as long as possible in my old age as well.
