I think i would go absolutely crazy without technology. I do all my work on the computer, i drive to work, i keep in touch using my cell phone.Id be lost without all these things and I think this is true for almost anyone today.

it would be difficult undoubtedly, since we are so used to these advanced technology in our daily life. and sudden stoppage would mean putting myself into a darkroom totally disconnected with all my far away friends and relatives, oh even mylotters, lol, without any entertainment. may be i can do with that situation for a month max. not more.

I don't know if I could live without my cell phone, but I could probably live without my Internet for a only a month. I could definitely live without the television and the radio, as TV can rot the brain and I don't have a radio in my house.

Well, I feel deprived if I can't get online :) But it's only been part of my life for the last 8 or 9 years, likewise mobile phone, television I can easily live without - 99% trash - radio? maybe but I don't actually need it. You see, when I was growing up, all that we had for electronic entertainment was the radio and we had to make our own entertainment otherwise so it's quite easy for my to slip back into that sort of mode of living. I expect that it's different for people who are growing up now with all the electronic gadgets that are available now.

I absolutely can't. Technologies like these are here to make our lives much easier. And without all these, I don't think I can survive a day.

I could live without it, it would be a bit strange for the first couple of days, but providing i have plenty of books and paper to write on, I would be happy as larry.

I would absolutely love to be able to give up these things. My s/o feels differently however. The first thing he does when he wakes up (before even talking to me if we happen to be together) is turn on the computer and tv. He thinks we need all this stuff and wouldn't be supportive of me giving it up. Since I have it I enjoy it but I wouldn't miss it if it was gone. I hear all the time that technology is supposed to make our lives easier but I think it makes things harder. Kids have a hard time entertaining themselves without tv and video games. Adults have all sorts of relationship problems because of the supposed ease of the computer. They quit communicating with family and friends in person because of e-mail and instant messaging, couples have problems caused by chatting turned flirting or worse. The tv cuts into precious family time eliminating important communication. The list could go on and on.

I think I don't agree with you may be because I am not in a situation like that. But let me tel you if I am in place which is full of natural beauty & if there is a girl with me to share my heart & thoughts I believe I can live with out technology . Don't you also thing like this . A place where you and ur BF along ( Expecting u r a girl). Imagine it will a good one.
