Sometimes hearing peoples' opinions on certain matters make me quite ashamed to be part of the human race. I don't know what's going on in the world these days. I believe our nation has hit an ultimate low. There are people protesting against humans' natural born rights. I'm against war of all kind, but it's necessary and I support any troops that have the bravery to fight for what they believe in. I'm sick of people being so "anti-war" and thinking that holding up signs opposing it is going to make a difference. It's not. You say you're all for peace and unity and yet you're seperating yourselves by holding up those signs and opposing people with bravery. There's nothing peaceful about that. I'm for abortion. It's our right as humans to decide what we want and it's our right to make mistakes, very often in fact. How dare people sit and say that they're higher, better people than those who get abortions. Nomore of the stupid reason "It's murder", "I'm pro-life" blabla. Yeah, I'm against murder as well, and yeah, I'm pro-life. Half of the people who insult women getting abortions have never been in their place and have no right whatsoever to judge. What would you do if someone was trying to kill someone you or someone you loved? I'm guessing you would lash out and try to kill them first. Why? How would you feel if you got called a murderer for making, what you thought, the best choice you could have made? I don't see how you can compare a cereal killer to a confused, frightened woman/girl. Some people just need to get a grip.

Live and let live. If people thought things through, they wouldn't do half the stupid stuff that they do. But people don't want to think. They want to be part of a mob. It's easier to live when you have a mob to back you up. You don't have to make decisions; they're already made for you. No moral dilemmas; the mob's already told you what to think.

I agree 100% with your opinions on the war (hate it but it's sometimes necessary) and on abortion rights (it's your body and your choice) but instead of being upset about the vocal opposition you should be proud of the fact that you sat down, made yor own decisions and are willing to fight for your right to hold them. It's really the beauty of human nature, not the curse, that we have the ability -- and right -- to choose our own path through life and, at the same time, its unfortunate that too many people are just sheep -- following the herd and never bothering to figure out things for themselves. "The dissenter is every human being at those moments in his life when he resigns momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself." Archibald MacLeish

I'm with you on this one, it seems that today no matter how much you want to have your own opinion on something, a big mob, like Mrcoolantspray says, has already made up their mind for you. Another thing I don't get is how my opinions are bunched together as "conservative" or "right winged" and it makes me mad how someone who doesn't know how I feel about the economy and foreign policy is bunching me in with a bunch of conservative whatchamacallits. I have my own set of opinions and views and politics, I'm not conservative, I'm Jakian..damn people.
