Do you know what to do if this happens to you? Reading some tips on what you should do before this happens was an eye opener. Did you know you should scan your credit cards or at least write all the info down? Now, that is a good idea to do. I know I haven't done this, and maybe have the attitude not happening to me. Then what do I know hahaha. Also I don't seperate my cash to hold on me just incase this should happen. That also sounded like a good idea to do. Who wants to be without all their money? Not me. One thing I have done that they ask you to do is make sure you check to make sure you have your wallet during the time your out. This could help in retracing your steps to hopefully find your wallet. Just incase your the type of person who might forget to put it back in your purse or pocket. Some ides on how you would deal with losing your wallet are: Remember when you last had it. Was it lost or stolen?. Asking yourself questions where you went or what you were wearing. I have forgotten a few times I had put something in my coat pocket. Call places you had been. Then act quickly don't wait any longer then 24 hrs to call your bank and credit card companies. Was your driver license in there? Need to get a new one don't forget to let them know it was stolen or lost. Report your wallet lost or stolen, the report will help you in the long run. Also call the credit bureaus and report your lost cards. So, today if you haven't already follow some steps so it will be easier on you in the long run. Have anyone ever dealt with this, what was your experience?

My boyfriend lost his wallet on his 21st birthday. We still haven't replaced his ID yet, but that was the only thing in the wallet other than cash. Thank God we didn't have to go through and cancel any credit cards. Great tips by the way!

Thanks, Sounds like he needs to get his ID replaced. Did he at least inform them it was lost? There are people out there that pay money for IDs. Something to look into, and hopefully no one is using his ID.
