Yes, sounds familiar. You forgot house work we all have to do, more or less, and I have also a full time job. I'm trying to study the marketing as much as I can but there are only 24 hours in a day. And sometimes I'm too tired to learn... like now... I'm able only to respond some discussions there.

Yep, sounds about right. I have to add housework, cooking, yardwork, and exercise to the list though. I never have enough time to get everything accomplished in a day. Right now, I am supposed to be working on our taxes. UGH.

It appears as if you are over extending yourself. You might want to cut back a little on some of your activities.

As important as it is to you to get your work down. you still have to take that moment for yourself and say ok. breath and just laugh. when you stress you get more stress. when you worry you get more things to worry about. make a chart. like today i am going to myot and blog. tomrrow i am going to link exchange and blog. pace yourself so you don't burn out. that is not good for you or anyone around you. most important have fun and know, and have total faith that you are going to do well

There is nothing wrong with trying to organize yourself. i think it's a good thing. and it sounds to me like you like mylot, because you have it on your list twice.

I am glad that you are planning to get organized on the internet, I wish I could do that too. I am writer and I contribute a lot of stuff to magzines and publications, have special columns that only I have to write for some magazines. I spend almost 10 hours a day on the computer, but can rarely get organized. I use places such as mylot as as ort of stress breakers, or time out diversions, but my paper work sufferes a lot. I have loads of filing to do and complete my wife's tax returns as yet, and the 31st of this month is the last day for that, after which she ends up paying a penalty for filing of late returns, and the filing of papers - shucks there's tons of it pending as yet!

Sounds like a game plan to me. Keep up the good work and don't allow your self to be overwhelmed. If you look at things in parts instead of this big pot of soup that you must consume in one sitting you will end up going insane.

Sound like me! lol! I limit myself to work on mylot every other day. I spend more time working on my blog and my home page. I admit this mylot is quite addicting. When you logon you can't stop. So my respond to it is do not logon at all. Finish my other works first.

LOL...Yan, you're not alone in trying to figure out ways to organize your stuff. I'm also a mess here. I mean I'm so hooked with mylot that its all I'm doing now. My first week here, I didn't bother to clean my house. So I decided to make a timetable or list a schedule for the week just so I won't leave any thing unattended. For the computer, you will see a lot of tabs on my monitor as I was visiting other site aside from mylot. Its mind boggling. :)

I know how you feel and know how difficult it can be to get started and when to end your day. people in the household is also a battle to respect your job, i find it great when i'm on a schedule and i work straight through 8 hours and then stop after that. i am free and clear for the next morning. i find discipline is the key to sucess.

I feel you are lot organised about your internet work. I do agree that having a schedule helps so that one can complete all tasks but i rarely myself follow one. I also checkout mail and do mylotting. It is nice to see that you are focused on promoting your blogs. I would like to follow your success with blogs because of my interest in them. Feel free to write to me about it, when you have time. good luck. happy posting.

I work five hours a day Monday through Thursday. I go to school 15 hours a week, and I work on this computer. I am all over the place and have thrown much of my organizing skills out of the window.

Yes! This discusion is right up my Alley. I too am a work at home addict LOL. I MUST organize EVERYTHING!!!! Or else I will be CRAZY. I have not shared this with anyone because I thought it was just called GETTING OLD LOL. I have a day for everything that way I don't get bogged down with time because at any given moment my time can be taken away from me. It is called (Grandkids and Daughter) Basically these are folks who interrrupt me with NO warning! So I will give you my schedule. There are seven days in a week right? okay pick 6 different things you do all the time because you want to leave one day to yourself (SMILE). Sorry but this is needed in my opinion or else you will be a big ball of STRESS! For me it is the day I have off which is usually on the weekend and on sunday I still have a CLASS I have to attend so even my weekend could be a trip if I let it. Each day I have one thing scheduled like e mail and blogging and forums ect...and ChaCha is everyday when I have the chance to log in. I am a stay at home Grand Mom and I care for my gran kids all day on week days while their parents are at work and I cook for them and Live with them so it can be a bit Much and sometimes I don't even leave the house all week LOL! Believe me when I say WORKING AT HOME CAN BE MORE THAN A FULL-TIME JOB!!!!!!!!! But I would not have it any other way. (SMILE)

How I wish I have spare time to get things organized. I'm the kind of person who does what comes to mind first and forgets to prioritize my tasks or activities for the day. I also need superhuman powers to get all things done within a day. I congratulate you for having a 'to do' list which I will also try to do to keep track of what I accomplish on a daily basis. Your list looks like a lot of work online. Where do you get all your energy? I work from home part time and I have a full time job too. Truth to tell, I feel drained! *sigh*

hi friend, getting organised means to follow a descipline to make the things systmatically.it doesnt need to be a superman to complete all the tasks which we want to complete at the end of the day.there are many techniques developed by the management divas to get the things done in the best manner .we have to master such techniques to be a master.
