I've always been intrigued by cultures and customs of other countries. I've stated this many times here with my discussions,responses, & my comments. I've a list of friends from all over the globe. Now my question is this..... Do others here have the issue where due to this fact of your friends list that others requests you as a friend just because you have friends, let's say from Indonesia on your list? What do you do if they're very new & you noticed on thier page the only friends they have are from the USA? I have found myself as of the last 3 days getting many friends requests from a couple specific countries & have noticed this. I can't tell if we have anything in common as they're too new. Now I've denied a couple & accepted some as well. I'm not saying I'm right or wrong. I'm just curious if I'm this special to get 10 or more requests per day along these ways is all. Plesse let me know your experience along these lines please. Thanks again for all responses.

Oh boy, Grandpa Bob, you need to be nice for once. You should start accepting all friend requests like me!
Why would you wanna turn people away? People just want to cuddle close to you! :P

Interesting. I have not taken great note of where my friends come from, to see if there is a pattern. But now that you alerted me to this, I had a think. I do a large following ftom the Philippines. Not sure why?
Most friends dont respond to my disccussions, so I am not bothered anyway.

I've a large group from the Philippines. But I've got some real friends that are originally from their. But it seems thats the area that's doing a lot of requests. I've added quite a few. In fact a couple are great contributors HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

I'm from the Philippines! Generally, I noticed that Filipinos like networking sites (like Friendster, mySpace or Multiply) and myLot has an added feature in the sense that it's interactive.
That's not the reason why I post to Grandpa Bob though. I think his discussions are insightful - the kind that makes you think, and those are the kinds of discussions that merit responses in my book.

I get quite a few of the same types of request from India, the Philippines and Indonesia I think. I think it's because I try to answer questions about mylot, and when new people are trying to figure things out and see something along the lines of adding friends and how to make money here they request me for this reason. I notice I answer a lot more of these types of post late at night early morning hours and that's when those countries are in the middle of there day. That's just my guess. I have noticed you in many of those discussions also. Coincidence? Wonder if it's the same people? Hmmmmmmmmm!
I have accepted everyone but one and that person is still sitting there waiting to be approved. Probably won't happen though. :)

LOL. I seen your responses in a lot of them also. I've one friends request I deny daily sometimes twice in one day.

I'm just opposite of you - as you too have noticed;)- and I don't get any request at all. Its obvious why you are so special:) but anyway, I'm not getting the early lines in the post, and would like to say only that initially I was getting requests from my sub-continent only but now_a_days other people too are interested. Seems I too am going to have that universal approach!:)

Keep at it man & you'll get the friends from all over also. You're posts are really improving also. I've liked most so far. LOL!
