Real Estate - built house for sale or rent. Put it in the bank to earn interest. Set up a business. What is the capital requirement needed to start?

I woudl probably do a good investment is real estate, then equity and mutual funds. No fun in parking your moeny in term deposit. That is of course low risk but return is alo low.
