Definately not! Is it wrong to be rich so you can help someone in need, someone you love? To have what you want and deserve? I think everyone deserves to be rich...

It's not at all wrong to be rich. Money answers everything. In fact God wants His people to have excess. Many people of God were rich like Solomon who is the richest man on earth and nobody will ever be richer than him. Iob was rich. Kornelios, the first Gentile convert, was rich. What is wrong is the love of money because the love of money is the root of all evil.

It's not at all wrong to be rich if we get our wealth through lawful means and we do not oppress people. We have to work for our livelihood and we happen to get rich through hard work, that's our reward for being industrious.

Of course not. Why should it be wrong to become rich? God gives us gifts and His blessings through our hard work. We work hard to receive our compensation to sustain us so that we do not become burden to society or other people. What is wrong is to love money most of all for the love of money is the root of all evil.

It's not wrong to be rich but you have to stay your feet on the ground just for other's to appreciate you. Richness is not a sin nor a bad standings on a person's personality but you have to control you head not to over rule over your heart.

No it is not wrong to be rich. But what is wrong is the love of money. Actually money is good if used in the right way. It could help other people. But if one is selfish then the money one owns is worthless and will be the cause of ones self destruction eventually.

It's good to be rich unless the money you possessed through a wrong way. But rich is not concerned to money. You can be rich by improving your knowledge, your attitute, your loving heart.....a peaceful and happy mind.

Looks like I have to disagree with every other reply to this topic. Yes, it is wrong to be rich. The only way one person can be rich is if lots of other people are poor. Being financially secure and free from debt is good but when you get people with millions or even billions of $ it's wrong.

There's nothing wrong with being rich as long as you dont use your economic status nor your money to cause other people's misery. It would be even better to use this in helping other people who are in dire need of financial help. And GOD will bless you with more riches, not just in this world but in His as well.

Being Rich by Proper way is Encouraged! One can be a rich man by doing cheating; But it is not considered as a Rich. Hope you understand What want to say; Richness is not only calculated by Bank Blance, reather It should be calcualted various factors. 1. the way he become a rich, 2. the attitude of the person after his richness, 3. etc.,
