cartoon devils....fiddle...huh?

I have now seen two different Cartoons that states to beat the devil you need to beat him at a fiddle contest, and of course the Devil can't be touch on a fiddle for some reason. what gives? does it speak of the Devil playing the fiddle some where in the bible?
