Chips or no chips?

I just finished a bologna sandwich with chips on it. I think it's the only way I ever eat bologna. I don't like it without the chips. I have to have that crunch! The chips have to be wavy, like Ruffles or Wavy Lay's. The best flavor is sour cream and onion, or sour cream and cheddar. For condiments I use HUNT'S catsup and Hellman's mayonnaise. This sandwich is a ritual! So...do you put chips on YOUR sandwiches?

I love eating chips on my sandwichs myself. Anyone that says it is gross doesn't know what they are missing. I have ate my sandwichs like this for years.

Too funny! I had a bologna and chip sandwich for breakfast this morning! Like at 8 am! It was even great with coffee!

You mean there are actually people who DON'T put chips on their sandwiches? This is a delicassy. Bologna without chips is like peanut butter without jelly. Oh I had to respond to this one, made me hungry. The answer is YES I definitely do love to put chips on my sandwiches.

on grilled cheese, and tuna fish.,, its the best! i also have to have with peanut butter and jelly,, not on the bread, on the side.

Okay, I thought I was the only weird one that did this?!! I have enjoyed doing it since childhood. I try not to do it around others as many have told me that it is 'rude.' I have yet to figure how it is rude, as to me, it is better than eating the chips with one's fingers and then licking off the salt and oil!!!! I especially like to put chips on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Yum!!

I love potato chips on bologna sandwiches. Mayo, pickle, and lettuce. Have to have the Wavy chips like Wavy Lays or Ballrich's. Cain's are also good. Fried bologna... just ketchup. Tunafish salad sanwiches are wonderful with the same kind of chips.

There is no way I would put chips on it!! Mayo only for me on bologna. I know a lot of people put chips on sandwiches, my aunt puts french fries on her hamburgers. To each their own. lol

I agree with you. I actually don't like bologna all that much. Pretty basic and pretty bland, although I do like hotdogs! The only way I like a bologna sandwich is with chips, mayonnaise and mustard. Bringin' back an old favorite-I haven't had bologna in years!

Yes i put chips on my sanwiches.I also like to fry my bologna.I put mayonise,lettuce and mustard on mine.

No, I never heard of such a thing! Have you tried frying your bologna? I prefer it that way. I just wish I could find it here in the UK.

I do eat chips on my sandwiches sometimes, but not all the time. However, I also have a ritual with bologna. It HAS to be the thin cut and ALL BEEF bologna...not any of the pork and turkey crap. YUCK LOL Then, I have to have Miracle Whip and sweet relish. This is the only way I can eat a bologna sandwich and i love it. :)
