Canning can be very satisfying and fun. Get your friends to help. When I was canning I used both kerr and ball recipe books. I will certainly check out the OSU site, as well as checking into Ball and Kerr. I've seen people sell Ball and Kerr and Mason jars on ebay as well. Which is interesting!

No tips here.
Although there's probably some sort of machine which will do it for you. I've seen some in past which can things so you keep them fresh etc, although this isn't something I do.
