Do you think online colleges are legit?

There are online colleges/institutes offering degrees on various subjects charging different fees. But, one has to keep it in mind that, like offline, there are lots of fake, fraud on Internet doing the same. You better check with various sites whether a specific online college is legit. Means, they should have accreditation from concerned authority. Be careful........

Some are legit, and some are nothing more than diploma mills. Always check for accreditation and reputation before you sign up. Colleges like MIT are putting their courses online, and you can study on your own. But you would have to qualify just like any of their students, and then register and pay fees if you want a degree. And yes, it's a real education if you have the self-discipline to work at it.

As long as it is accredited.
