A special favor for a special lady

I have a very special favor to ask of any members here that live anywhere close to Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. I have a very special lady there in the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines. She has had an accident that broke both major bones in her leg and is undergoing surgery for placement of pins and strap in the bones to aid the healing of this. The pain and trama have been giving her a time with this and could use some moral support and prayers. Her name is Cecelia Ampo and is the love of my life. She is a mylot user here as well.

Ok , I'll tell you what I know so far. About 6 days ago she was out on a Honda XRM (small motorcyle) delivering her monthly report for the school board. You see she is a 1st and 2nd grade school teacher in her home town Gingoog City. she was avoidind traffic and made a short turn near a wall. Her leg got caught between wall and XRM. It pinned her leg and twisted it back. The result was both major bones in leg between knee and ankle were broken and twisted out of place. Gingoog City hospital wasn't able to do surgery as it was beyond their skill levels there. So she was transported to CDO regional hospital for more skilled surgery. Since that time she has had it look after but so far surgery has not been done. There is a waiting for surgery and she has to pay for the stainless pins and straps to be installed. The PhilHeqlth Insurance helps on surgery and hospital costs but not for implant devices like pins. I have sent her the money for the pins and straps and she is waiting till that arrives and gets scheduled for surgery. Her Dr. there has done what he can till that happens but I'm sure she is in a lot of pain. Surgery should take place in next day or so and shes in for a long recovery before full use of leg and foot.
I was scheduled to be there in a week or so but have had to delay plans as the funds for this surgery was much more urgent that my trip.
I was really hoping that someone near by might be able to stop by and the hospital there and give her some incouragemewnt. Even a card woiuld cheer her up. She is in the North Mindanao Medical Center in CDO.

I will pray for a quick recovery. Sorry don't live near Cagayan de Oro. Please let us know how she is doing and hopefully she will be able to leave the medical center soon. Take care.
