(not copied and pasted) Actor Sylvester Stallone tried to bring in 48 vials into Australia. He did not appear in court where charges against him for importing a banned substance. The Australian Customs Service has charged Stallone with one court of importing a banned substance. This ocxcured on February 16 after prohibited substances were allegedly were found in his luggage. What sort of example does this sort of behaviour set for a youngsters?

Of course we know ya didnt copy/paste this as your not yet at 500. LOL. Just joking with you. The steroid issue is a strong one in professional sports here in the USA. Many players in various sports have been fined heavily & or suspended for use of them. These athletes are the role models for many young children & see this happening. I feel now days they are shunning those athletes actually. It has got to end soon before we have 10 year old boy wrestlers in school with no necks. LOL. You know what I mean though. Thanks for this discussion. Going to be intersting reading the responses to come. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

I know that you know I have not reached 500, as you take notice of these things, but lots of people don't. There are quite a lot of discussions about people copying & pasting, & when I write about an issue I have read about, I like people to know I thought about it first.

Many people try to use the growth hormone and many actors seem to do so also. When we travel to different countries it behooves us to find out what the local customs and laws are so that we do not break any rules or laws. It is an example of not knowing what the rules where in the country he was going to. I think we use it much here in the states.

Did they give him a fine or anything? It does not set an example for anyone. I guess this is how he is able to stay in shape at his age. I hadn't heard of this one.

Oh goodness, he's trying to buff up, I guess 'Rocky 88' must be getting ready to be filmed. *winks* It is pathetic the number of athletes, actors, and other celebrity types who are using these substances. I do hope he gets a heavy fine. Some jail time would be nice too.

i had heard some people are taking that to counter the effects of age-i forget how old stallone is,but i wonder if that's why he had it. still, illegal is illegal, and he should have known better. that's a definite bad example, especially from a public figure.
