I was just wondering what is your favorite dog shampoo and where do you buy it. I am looking for some shampoo for my short haired mutt.

I use a mix of baking soda and water. About a teaspoon of baking soda in a pitcher of water to wash mine down. Hes lng haired and it pulls the crud off him well. Dosent dry out his skin or anything. Just rince well and hes good to go. Plus is a "food" so if he ingests it its allright for him. Rather then a soap that can be poisionous if he licks it. So we feel more comfortable washing him down with the bakings soda in water. It disolves well when stired in warm water.

I can't wait to try it. We also like all natural products.

I use a very gentle, natural, watered down shower gel to wash my dogs. (Tramp from Lush) it has a subtle smell, so doesn't bother them, and it doesn't have all the chemicals that seem to be in most commercial dog shampoos. it's also particularly good for sensitive skin, and leaves my black lurcher extremely shiny.

I used Hartz Puppy Shampoo for my toy poodle(even though she's not a puppy). I like it because it is tearless(like baby shampoo) and it keeps her coat feeling very soft and has a pleasant smell. I never use people products on my dog becuase of the different PH balance between people and animals.

Baby shampoo! I use tear free, detangling baby shampoo. It's more concentrated than dog shampoo and rinses much faster! Probably cheaper too!
