i have a lot of that too in my inbox and i just delete them all. There are also some email that annoys me - offering a huge amount of money just to help them get the money deposited by their deceased relatives - in million dollars. Most of the location mentioned is South Africa or Zimbabwe. Gosh! If i helped them all I would be listed as one of the richest men on earth.

Well - I sometimes get stuff like that too. Usually, if I was to send it to anyone, I usually take that "If you don't send this ..." part out. Sometimes, it is a great message, or even a good joke to share. Oh - yeah, I've seen quite a few MySpace bulletins are like that.

Im sick of getting e-mail with this content, what annoys me even better is that it came from what i considered friends. I got a lot of these things which said a lot of good things, then in the end it threatened that something bad will happened to you if you do not send it to a number of people. I just kicked them out of my e-mail (delete them) and fortunately nothing happened to me.

Hi scarlet, when I was younger, I used to entertain these type of emails and send it to friends..But now, I don't do it anymore..I will just delete it right away! I have no time with that anymore not unless it is something funny and with a great message!

Yeah I just loove these. Send this to 379 people or your nose will fall off and move around and sniff your own butt for the rest of your natural life! I always get the ones with the fake cancer kids. I've even had my fake cancer kid change names within the same email. I really need to forward that. My poor little multiple personalities cancer kid needs that $10 that he gets sent by Bill Gates every time I put another poor person through reading/deleting his email! I also get ones with really scary pictures of Jesus superimposed on the back of an eagle and stuff. I would be blocked by most of my contacts for sending that stuff. The worst thing is this crap is actually sent to me by the only family member that ever really has the gossip on what's going on back in the states so I can't bring myself to block her. Oh well. =P

I hate those chain letters! that's all I ever get, from one of my contacts in particular...I don't like getting them, and I'm sure not going to send them on to somebody Else! If I do get one,I might look it up on www.snopes.com to see if there's any truth to it or if it has been investigated as being BS..then I'll send that link back!

I have friends that do the same thing, I dont quite know why they would believe an email, its not real right??..haha..at least I dont believe it. I sometimes get those that say to send this to 50 of your closest friends and good luck will come your way in three days but you only have 1 hour to forward this email...what is up with that??? I personally think its all rubbish scarlet, I mean are there really people out that that believe something bad will happen to them if they dont forward an email or dont respond to something? Are there people that have actually had experiences good or bad?..I doubt it..lol

I get them also, from friends and minor acquaintances alike. I just delete them without further thought or judgment. My friends (and minor acquaintances) have their paradigms, and I have mine. they don't always overlap. So be it.

People hardly think when they forward mails. :) I have been "cursed" so many times. I don't take it seriously, but then I don't forward such stuff either. I say to myself, "ok lemme see if this one comes true," and I just delete it. :) So far, nothing has happened. I am hale and hearty. Cheers and happy mylotting

I don't think I've ever gotten one of those curse emails. But if I did, then it wouldn't bother me too much. I don't really believe in that kind of stuff. And if you don't believe or put faith in it, then it has no power. The only power that a curse has is the power that you give it with your belief! I do believe in the supernatural, just not email curses.
