I am getting pretty discouraged now and don't know what to do any more.

I don't know what is happening but i have sent some pms to some of my friends and have been avidly replying to their discussions..Not only have I had no pms but tye haven't replied to not one of my discussions in the last couple of days..One of my friends finally got through to me that she wasn't getting my messages or pms but I feela bit frustrated because these were my regular friends that would reply to at least one of my posts..now I have lost them aswell I feel I am on a limb..I feela bit discouraged. I was thinking of doing the mylot song but what use will that be if i put so much effort into something and it doesn't get a look in. I am feeling just a bit discouraged today and will be winding down my discussions. I posted another song today and just got a couple of replies. I know its not every ones cup of tea but I feel sad that the people who I thought would give me just a nudge of support are nolonger there. I will still respond totheir discussions and be around but I am definately going to wind down on the discussions side. It's time I took the back seat and just posted responses. Love you all..

Don't be discouraged, I am going to send you a personal message, just to see if you are getting yours. MyLot is a wonderful place, but it is not , or should not be, the only place you have friends. I admit, I have not looked at your songs yet, but I saved the notification. I wanted to listen when I was not rushed and obligated to other things. I have not stared any discussions in several days, but if we all do that, what will there be to answer?

got your pm..i am a bit low because i havr to leave my hubby again soon and it is very difficult..i think so much pressure has built up even little things get to me..i am quite a tough cookie but of late i am a bit weak emotionally..ouch better get my shell back!

I got your messages without problem and your pm too,but do you remember the last week I don't get email from anyone with the problem I faced at mylot.As you saw even then I don't thing you can complain that I forgot you...right?
Don't feel discouraged ,maybe they was busy and didn't come to mylot.Sit and wait few days to see.....until hen the rest of us we are here.

Hi yan, cheer up. You know what, we're both the same. We're easily affected if friends didn't help out. But I learned to deal with it. Maybe your friends are busy or they may not understand your song. I happened to be a Chinese so I understand. Keep up the good spirit. myLot is for everyone and we can put down our thoughts and feelings.

Haii nice to know that you are worried about your friends . Even I care for my friends but there is another way out from this situation I know "OLD IS GOLD." but new is diamond . Make new friends on regular interval and you will find many a friends standing beside you always .

You probably need to be patient. Sometimes people do not reply because they don't know what to say. I am certain that, especially those friends who do not have many friends, will think of something good to reply with if given enough time.

I wouldnt take it so personal.LOL There are so many people here on mylot you dont need that kind of a friend. Just get some new friends. And cheer up. You can make just as much money to just responding to discussions thats what Im doing now and occasionally I throw out a discussion.LOL

Oh hon, don't let this discourage you. Maybe your friends haven't seen those PMs yet, they will get to it I'm sure. Just be patient and if they don't respond at all then you know they aren't your friends. We are here for you so don't worry. I haven't been able to listen to your song today but will do it the first thing tomorrow morning..take care dear and cheer up. Hugs!

First of all, hugs for you! Don't let the no response to your pms get you down. I am one person who will respond to all messages unless they are downright ugly and mean. However, I know there are people who either delay replying because they did not come on myLot for a few days due to some personal reason or they are just those people who don't bother and these are the ones you can just delete them after trying them out a few times. Lastly, if they are like my dear brother, they will think that your messages are purely rhetorical and doesn't require answers, lol. Anyhow, cheer up because there are many more people out there who will respond to you, lovely lady.

SOmetimes when we are feeling a bit down, even small things can get us discouraged. I wouldn't worry too much about you're friends not answering all your discussions. THey might be a bit more busy in their outside lives - I know it happens to me sometimes. I have days I can spend a lot of time in here, others I can hardly post more than 5 or 6 things because my time is limited. When that happens I try to go back the next time and go through all things my friends posted but it's almost impossible to get them all.
For example yesterday I read this post and was going to answer, but I had to leave so I left it for today. I am here now, but it could also happen that something else came up and I would end up missing it. If that happened it wouldn't be because I don't care about your posts or responses at all.
Hope you're feeling a bit better today and that you're not as discouraged .

Cheer up my friend yanji..
You shouldn't be depress you have many friends more than you can imagine who are just around to give reply when you need one..
I always try my best to answer all my friends discussion but sometime if I'm off topic i've no choice but to hang around for a while and choose some other topic that I can easily relate.

that's sad to know. have you PMed me? if so, i haven't received any PMs lately. oh, i think i have received one yesterday but not from you.
anyway, i am excited about the song. where is it now? i hope to hear it soon.
i haven't been much online for the last couple of weeks. i went to my dad's place since i submitted my documents to the swedish embassy (i am applying for a residence permit to be with my boyfriend) and the embassy's just near his city. and dad's internet connection was so bad that i get annoyed most of the time. i rarely visit mylot during those two weeks. if so, i only visit for minutes or best, an hour. so, no much responding for me.
but now, i am back home... whew! nice to be home again. hehe.
anyway, i hope to get intouch with you again and hopefully, hear your song!

Don't worry It sometimes happen when we do not get replys from people whom we most expect from and it is really heartbreaking, but there is only one thing you can do about this and that is stop expecting anything from any body and just keep on contributing your share to MyLot and soon you wil have a heck lot more people and friends replying and I can say that cause thats what happened to me.

I wouldn't feel too discouraged. There maybe alot of reason why some of your friends haven't posted to your discussions yet. They maybe on vacations or something came up and they haven't been on mylot lately. I wouldn't let it bother you that much. I enjoy your discussions and i try to reply to many of them as i can. Cheer up and don't let this get you down. Keep on mylotting and making new friends.

Dude, dont get disheartened so fast, i think that first you should cross - check in some way whether your PM's reached them or not. And also if everythings fine at their side. If they are your buddies then they would have surely replied to you and your discussions. Unless you did something that compelled them to boycott you in an instant.
