Is friendship spontaneous?

I agree. Friendship is spontaneous. Once a friend is your friend their your friends for life. It's so good to have friends.

I agree with the user whose name is friendship! I am a bit more calculating than most people in forming relationships. The friends that I've made spontaneously seem to end up fair-weather friends and it is sometimes necessary to prune the list. The friendships that last are more likely those made after the observation that we agree on important things and have much in common. That does not mean friends have to be the same as us or agree on everything, just that we have the same core values.

I think friendship should be built and maintained from time to time. It won't come spontaneously. It needs a process. Making an enemy is spontaneous, anyway. Making a friend often needs time and process. By the way, my avatar's name is friendship :-)

I think that friendship is non-spontaneous, i mean when u grow up and move in the practical life then at that time u meet alot of people but its actually you who decides to make friend or not.. Its not like that you meet a person and then he just becomes your friend.. Well thats what i think.

you are absolutely right that friendship is spontaneous.as we dont know when we came across friends in our life and also we dont know whether we can be friends with them are not.as our likes dislikes have to match upto some extent.its really amazing if we think about where we meet and how it happens.freindship is really great when compared to all other relationships.
