Grrrr! My netflix delivery arrived and I couldn't wait to get home and pop the dvd in and enjoy a night curled up on the couch watching Jason Statham run around the city trying to keep his adrenaline pumping to counteract a posion. From the previews for this movie and having seen Jason in The Italian Job I really had some high hopes for Crank. I love a good action movie, really like Jason's accent ;), and thought the plot was a superb idea. Boy, was I let down. His accent in no way made up for this flop! I had the sinking feeling as soon as the movie started that I was going to be disappointed. Ya kinda know that the movie's in trouble when the climax of the plot takes place within the first 2 minutes, but I was till holding out hope that Jason's superb acting ability and lovely accent would carry the movie through. I'd like to know what happened to his superb acting ability that I saw in TIJ??? Sheesh, I think I picked the wrong career, I know I can act better then some of these yahoos and I definitely know I'd appreciate their salary a whole lot more! What'd you think of the movie?

Sorry....nothing I hate worse then having a movie that I was looking forward to seeing ruined by some one else! Ya never know, you may like it....plenty of other people seem to have loved it.

You're forgiven. It would be unusual if I couldn't find something to enjoy in a movie. I know it's had mixed reviews, but the previews made it look as if it will be fun.

It definitely is not an award winner, but I thought it was hilarious. Could his girlfriend be any less clueless???

I didn't think it was that bad of a movie. Once you passed the weird camera angles and stuff. It wasn't meant to be an award winning movie. Just an action adventure.

They just could have done a better job of it, I love action adventure, this just didn't seem well put together. They could have kept all the action but improved on the script some.

It wasn't the worst movie I have ever seen, but it wasn't the best either. I thought that there was no plot to it, but it was hilarious. There were some scenes that left you with your mouth wide open. Although they could have done a better job!!!

Right. I will admit I laughed a few times, but it didn't make up for all the other times I shook my head in disbelief...and not good disbelief either.

definitely not something worth for recommendation. the plot is subpar.. i'd rate it 4/10

It wasn't the best story line, but the action scenes more than compensated for that.

Really? I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was good and that he did a good job, or maybe I was just so much into Jason? He is so HOT! LOL! But I honestly did enjoy the movie, sorry you didn't. He has only played in 3 movies right? I think... I could be wrong.
