When I have less time I prefer comics, even when i need sort of refreshment i go for comics but when i am on a long way out left with nothing to do I prefer novels, specially long ones including everthing in it like mystery, relationships, feelings , romance. But since comics just get completed in no time I like novels as they keep me from not getting bored.

reading novels is better of course, you won't get smarter if you read comics.

I find it wrong to compare novels with comics. Both have their spots under the sun. Whereas novels are there when you need more details and more stretched out plots. Comics are required to attract young crowd in the world of reading books. Comics usually tend to be read by the younger crowd and as their visualization of scenarios develop, they tend to move to novels. For myself, I love both novels as well as comics. Cheers! Ram

Novels got my vote..i prefer it than comics... i think that it is more descriptive and will enhance your imagination more than a comics with only dialogues...
