I don't agree that we have to let him/her go if you really love that person!

I can let her/him go if it's regarding his/her carrier and future otherwise I won't even allow person to get invisible from my eyesight.

Let go if you know that the other person doesn't love you the same way as you do. One sided relationships will never make anyone happy. However letting go of someone who loves you back is quite pointless. Why let go of them when you love each other anyway.

i know what you mean. we should never let go the one we love for any reason! if it's true love, then why let go? it's also true that couples who really love eachother happen to break up because they don't know how to deal with hard times, or they simply don't know to communicate with eachother, but this is another part of the story. so i state this again: i would never ever lave my partner because of too much love! i would just follow him wherever he leads (hmmm this reminds me of Gilmore Girls, lol)

I think sometimes you have to let go of the person you love if he/she is no longer happy with you. Of course if you really love somebody you want him/her to be happy. But if it's not by being with you, then you just have to give way..
