my friend says that tall people tend to be healthier than short people

because of the blood circulation. is there truth in this?

That seems unlikely. What you put in your body has an effect on your circulation , like smoking or eating fatty foods, poor exercise. Your height is not a factor.

yes, i agree, stormygrl. it's what we eat that makes us unhealthy. and i don't believe that height has anything to do with our health at all.

not true... being 6'1" doesnt mean im healthy..... if you take care of yourself then you're going to be healthy.

Actually very tall people tend to have more health problems, often heart problems. Your friend would be wrong!

I have never heard such a thing before. I believe there are many factors that make some people healthier than others. What if a short man is an athlete and stays fit and the tall man smokes and drinks? I think the small man would be healthier, don't you?

Well, I am 5,9 and my husband is 6,6 and I have to tell you... not only are we more healthy but we are both extremely good looking :-) Yea, it really has nothing to do with height... it is genetics, life style, including diet exercise. You know... it seems everything today is all about diet and exercise. Thats my two cents.
