I grew up in the middle of nowhere, a small summer village called Sandy Beach, Ive lived there my whole life up until about 3 years ago now where I moved into the city, I found it kind of hard getting used to it, I went from an area where everyone knew everyone, the air was fresh and clean, and the only sounds you had to listen to at night were the cyotes howling at the moon, (im not actually sure if it was cyotes as I have never seen them, but thats just what my parents told me when I was growing up) anyways ya, when I moved into the city, there was no more howling, the air smelled.... well different, there were sirens I had to listen to at night, and I can walk around the neighborhood and rarely see the same face twice, let alone know everyone This last weekend I spent out at the lake, and I realized just how much I missed it, you could really tell the difference in the air, you could hear the wildlife outside more than anything else, I still know most of the people there, and everything was just plain calm and relaxing, I really miss the rural living... So which do you prefer? rural or urban?

Definitely urban. I was born in London and have spent most of my life in Toronto. I live downtown because I hate being dependent on owning a vehicle. I think I could live in the country where I had lots of space and privacy. What I would really hate is the suburbs, where I have the worst of both worlds.
