What's your name again?

Have you ever called your new boyfriend/girlfriend by your ex's name? I was married to my first husband for six years and we had dated for two before that, so when I started dating again I was always afraid I'd accidently call my new guy by my ex's name on accident, out of habit. I was wondering if anyone else ever did this or was afraid that it might happen? Luckily, it never did for me. :)

Well this happened twice to me in my life. The first time it happened the person was very offended and I tried to tell them that it was just a habit and not to take it any other way.
The second time that it happened I was angry and my bf was acting just like my ex-husband and I yelled at him using my ex's name, he also was none to pleased. I think that's why I don't call them by name and always use pet names such as honey and dear. Can't go wrong their. :)
