I don't know if I spelled this correct or not. You can sound it out and know what I am talking about. I was just wondering what this was. I heard it on the t.v. the other night and I have no clue as to what it is. It sounds like a cancer.

Mesothelioma is a tumor of the pleura (lining of the lung and chest cavity). There are two types - a solitary growth that remains localized in one area of the pleura, and a diffuse malignant form. The symptoms are coughing, chest pain and breathing difficulty. The solitary growth can be surgically removed and result in a complete cure. Hope this clears up your question.

yes, mesothlioma is a cancer, maybe the most malignant tumor. mesothelioma is located in pleura, which enwrap the lungs. the chronic exposure to asbestos or radiation will cause mesothelioma. most of mesotheliomas are deadly except the benign mesothelioma. the symptoms of mesothelioma are chest pain and pleural effusion.
