Living with a schizoprhenic

For awhile, my brother and I have been "not dealing" with our father. Or more to the point, have been ignoring the fact that he is paranoid schizoprhenic. But now, it has gotten to the point that we need to do something about it. I was just wondering if there was anyone here that felt comfortable talking about how to deal with people with this disease of the mind. I can understand if this is a touchy topic, but to tell the truth, I'm feeling pretty lost these days, trying to figure out how to start to deal. Sorry if this topic treads on someone's toes.

I know a friend of a friend who suffered from this , It is a very hard thing to deal with as the person has an awful lot of ups and downs , I am sure there will be someone here on My lot who can maybe give you some advice but then again it can affect people in different ways , I would suggest you get in touch with someone who can come personally and give you advice or maybe you and your brother go to them , I am sure to that there must be a lot of information on the net , good luck to you either way xx
