Have you noticed any effects of climate change where you live? Last week we were out in the garden in the sunshine - so far this week we have had sleet and snow and its bloody freezing here in UK!

Yes .. the world is changing very fast these days .. but after watching a programme on our TV recently where they were clearly proving that global warming is NOT carbon related .. but just the way the world is changed by the sun .. well we will just have to make the best of what we have .. I feel sorry for youngsters .. us 'older' folks will die before the world gets too bad and before too many changes happen .. but young folks are going to have to learn to live with some pretty severe weather changes before they die ..

In here its getting warmer every summer. WE could feel the summer heat already and noticed that it is indeed warmer this year compared to past years. I guess its becoming a trend now that weather is getting extreme as years go by. i think it is caused by global warming.

The fluctuations in the weather can not be put down to global warming, the fact that the whole winter was ridiculously warm might be an indication of global warming, but then last year was really cold. Climate is the long term average weather, the fact that the 2000s are warmer than the 90s is evidence of global warming and the fact that we seem to be having storms on a more regular basis is also evidence, but the last week is simply the weather, its always done these weird things, the wind direction changed and in the blink of an eye it went from playing golf in my shorts on Thursday to throwing snowballs on Monday

Living as long as I have and studying weather like I have I have seen some slow changes. This morning we have freezing rain and this afternoon it will be 50 degree range. When I was a girl the rain was warm and now it is chilly rain. We used to have snow stay on the ground for a couple of months, now it comes and goes. So the climate is in a state of flux and it appears to be trying its best to balance despite all the things we do to it. Hope the weather straightens up for both of us so we can get out in our gardens and get some real work done.

Mans exploitation on the nature has caused a terrible change in the temparteure and climate of the whole world.Due to industrializtion and emission of green house gases theere is hole in the ozone layer and as a result the temperature has increased drastically. we have to reduce these gases to bring back the normalcy

One minute the sun was shining, the next huge hailstones were coming from the sky they really hurt when they hit you the size of golf balls! Now we've got sleet snow and its bitterly cold.

It's awful, I need more heating now than in December, last week I was on the beach with no coat and out in the garden planting flowers with my boys. Now there is hail storms, freezing winds and we are on flood alert due to big tides, lol. Yes I'm on the east Coast and things seem to have got very mixed up. I hsve noticed the last couple of years that march to may seem to be much more summery. August last year our caravan nearly blew away and we needed wellies all week which has never been know when we have our summer holiday.

Yes. Our winters used to be much colder, but in the past 15 years or so they have been getting much warmer on average. Also many freak rain storms in the Spring that cause flood damage.

Well it seems like it although probably not statistically significant. As a kid we'd always have a few major snow falls with no school. But years later the snowfalls seem to have tapered off. We only got a light dusting once this year. It was pretty for the few hours it lasted.
