do you own or rent a computer?

We have our own computer and unlimited internet connection for more than Php800 a month so I can log on anytime and visit sites and work here in mylot. It's very convenient to have one's own computer and internet connection.

I own my computer. I bought it from Dell.

in my homeland it's way cheaper to rent one. it's like $ 3 for 8 hrs a day with internet connection and I can download music save files and add any program I like plus anti virus etc. But now here I use my hubby's because he only uses it for games I thought might as well we use internet connection, it's costing us $ 50/ month so it's cheaper to own. The comp itself lasted for 2 - 5 yrs so not bad deal I'd say.

I used to go to internet cafes to surf the net. It's nice that you work in one, so surfing the net is not a problem for you. Normally, internet cafes in our area charge 25 pesos per hour (around 50 cents) for internet surfing. Internet cafes are booming nowadays because a lot of people still have no computer at home or they may have one but it has no internet connection. The rent is also very affordable. But since December of last year, I subscribed to a broadband connection so I no longer have to go to internet cafes. I can now stay home and surf whenever I want because it's unlimited. I pay 1000 pesos a month (around 20 dollars) for the subscription fee.

We have our own I think it about 36€ a month for cable tv Internet. We have the desktop computer and laptop computer on the same Internet connection.

Nope i dont own a computer neither am I renting one. I am working as a secretary/bookkeeper in our province so i have one computer to use. And im lucky that it has internet connection in it thats why i can respond to discussions evrytime i like.
