Everyone has got to love humor. Without it, this world would be boring. What are your favorite comedy movies? It doesn't have to be recent but even classic ones such as "The Jerk" "The Three Amigos" "Police Academy". My favorite movies that were recent are "Beerfest" "Clerks 2" and "Waiting". How about you?

i would recommend "Gods must be crazy trilogy", and Kunfu Hustle 1 and 2. I die of laughter while watching it. i watched the Police Academy, it is also lots of humor. Try the God's must be crazy. You will not regret that.

Talaga? Mayroon nang Kung Fu Hustle 2 doon sa Pinas? Kasi wala pa dito eh. Sinabi niya Kung Fu Hustle 2 to debut sa 2008. Malayo pa eh.

My favorite comedy is probably a movie called Bean. It's got this Mr. Bean character in it that used to be on his own show on PBS. My husband and I laughed so hard when we watched it like 6 years ago that our stomachs hurt after.

Jackie Chan's movies are funny. In fact, most Chinese movies inject some humor in their films, at least those that I watched. I also like Police Academy, Mrs. Doubtfire, hmmm.. what else... I don't like Gods must be crazy that much.

As I posted in another thread, my ultimate favourite movie of all time is "Bringing Up Baby" - Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, 1938. Classic screwball comedy!! I'm a huge Cary Grant fan, so almost all of his romantic comedies are favourites, but I also recommend "His Girl Friday" (with Rosalind Russell, 1940) William Powell is another favourite, and anything he did with Myrna Loy is a pleasure. Particularly, "The Thin Man" (1934), "After the Thin Man" (1936), and "Libeled Lady" (1936). "Libeled Lady" had me in tears!! Finally, "It Happened One Night" with Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert (1934). Another true classic - and the first movie to win all the major Oscars.
