Do you think that you have a Guardian Angel?

Yes i do believe that i have one and i have given her a name (Yes its a "her" in my knowledge). Its "Rosy". Last week i told my kids that they have guardian angels as well. So they wanted to name them. They boy wanted his angel to be "Nikki" and the the girl wanted her angel to be "Nickol". Now when they pray in the night, they say a special prayer to their angels, calling them by their names. Guys, what do you think about this? Your honest idea please.

This is a lovely idea, my kids both have guardian Angels and ask the Angels to help them when thay are struggling. They haven't named them, if they ask then the angel should tell them their names but I don't think Angels mind what you call them. My own Anggel is called Thomas and I have had him as long as I can remember, he appears when I am really miserable, he never grew up, he was my imaginary friend as a child and stayed a cute mischievous little boy. I often ask different Angels for help with different things and believe that they do watch over my home and loved ones. I see no harm in this at all, we should all be able to decide who we believe in any why and be able to do it on our own terms.

You inspire me rainbow. Nice to meet Thomas. I'll be happy to introduce him to my Rose. Its necer to give your angel a name so he is separate from the sea of angels dont you think. Rose comes to feel my head soothingly when i cant sleep in the night. You know i cant sleep these days due to problems of my tenants. Rose is the oasis. If not for her, i will never be able to sleep and i'd go crazy. Thats why i think its always better to have somebody, even imaginery, to console you at times of misery.

I'm sure Thomas and Rose already know of each other. If your Rosy appears when you look for your Angel then that is her name or the name you're both comfortable with. Maybe she is a spirit guide, maybe an angel, it doesn't matter what label you give her. I don't know where Thomas' name came from he's just always been with me, he could be one of many things imaginary friend included but he is there when I'm feeling completely lost and unable to cope, when I just can't always sort my feelings out, Thomas doesn't need explanation he knows and help make things better even if it is only by a change in my perception. I have seen angels, as sort of oily bits of sky and rainbow, on the beach a few weeks ago I commented to my friend about the beautiful rainbow but she couldn't see it, or the twinkles that surrounded us and our dogs, they surround my home too. Ask and an Angel will guide and protect you, ask for a sign they hear and are helping, signs are butterflys, feathers, something that would not usually be there, or simply the feeling of being loved or hugged. I cannot imagine my ideas to be inspirational, but thank you! This is as close as I get to religion, lol.

You are far ahead of me rainbow. I have not seen my Rosy. I was all this time just having her by my side. Actually this is the first time i have ever spoken to somebody about her. I think i must be more close to her than i was. I must think about this properly. Thanks for sharing these details. Have a nice day.

That was excellent and God loves you for doing so... God has given each and everyone a guardian angel and giving them names was a very good idea... and making your kids believe and walk on the right path is also very good...

I do believe we have guardian angels, especially children. The Bible talks about them. I wouldn't feel comfortable praying to an angel, because I feel my prayers are to be directed only to Christ/God.

No jules, you dont have to pray to your angel. Surely its wrong. We only pray to Christ/God, i agree with you. We just talk to our angel. The angel is a friend only we cant see them. Like rainbow says, when we feel down or when we struggle, just like we want a friend of us to help us, we call the angel and request help. That's all. Its a nice feeling Juls, i hope you would try.

Somehow it is healthy to have friends, and a super friend is a great company, when we fear, when we feel down or when we need a friend, it helps a lot when we know our angels will aleays be there at our call

I try to imagine they are there. But no, I can neither see them nor feel them. :( What is there to do but continue pretending? :P

You may be right. But this gives a bit of a consolation thinking that we are not alone somewhere.
