How can I make money on Helium.com?

Hi everyone! Does anyone belong to Helium.com, and if so, have you made any real money from it? And HOW? I've belonged for a few weeks now. I've contributed five articles. All of my articles are rated 1 or 2 in their grouping. But do you know how much I've made? Four cents. FOUR! I made more than that on my first day on MyLot! Also, I read somewhere that publications can buy what Helium writers write, and use them in their publications. How does that work? Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks!

I was just over at Helium. I have only written two articles, one awhile back and another tonight. Grand earnings: 16 cents. So, I guess that I will have to put a lot more into this to see any profit, but as I said, I've hardly published there, instead using other outlets, like Associated Content, Gather, and Epinions. I did notice two things at Helium tonight, however. First, they have a weekly contest going right now, which appears on the front page. Second, they have something called Helium Marketplace, in which you are paid better for articles requested by other websites. They list the payment rates...not sure how they determine which articles to accept. They also list deadline dates. My advice is to go over to the site and explore these two features. Good luck with your writing.
