Blue Heaven Milkshake

Blue Heaven Milkshake - Blue Heaven Milkshakes are the best! The flavour is somehting like vanilla but not quite.

I suppose this might apply mostly to Australians as I don't know if they're available in any other country - does anyone know what the flavouring in Blue Heaven Milkshakes is made from? Blue Heaven is an almost vanillary flavour - but something more. And it's blue. And it's YUMMY! Someone told me it might be related to Blue Curaçao. I don't think I've ever tasted this - though there are Blue Heaven Cocktail recipes with Blue Curaçao in there. So any ideas - what makes Blue Heaven Flavour?

I can't help you with the colouring or flavour, but I can tell you that blue haeven milk shakes were very popular in the fifties, only topped by chocolate and strawberry flavours.

Oh they are yummy, but you might have to come to Australia to try one :)
