I Believe in magic and spells because there's so many things in this world are sometimes cannot be explained. Magic and spells do exist if you believe in it. How About you? do you believe?

By choice I am a follower of the Wicca/pagan path, so as such I do "spells"---what people don't realize that everytime a person goes in a church and lights a votive candle say for a healling prayer, they are in effect doing a spell...As far as "magic" is concerned...even we who follow the wicca pagan path are incapable of doing magic in the classic sense, that is, waving a wand and saying a few words and something happens...I do have to admit...I wouldn't mind being like Samatha Stevens though and be able to simply twitch my nose and my house would be all cleaned!!! LOL

how do you define magic? to me, just by speaking a bunch of word in correct order is impossible. words by themself doesnt have any power. i do believe that there are powers that cant be explain with our current knowledge, but i prefer to refer them as advance technologies/methods

Actually words have tremendous power...Think about a time when you were seriously hardcore pissed off at someone and you spoke harshly to them...did it affect them in ANY way? most likely it did....Words when spoken with passion of any kind can be a very powerful tool...

Ravenlady I also feel what you say is true. I have seen this happen sometimes. I feel it is the heart felt feelings which resulted in those things happening

Yes magick and spellwork is very real but its not anything spectacular by any means...Basically its really no different to prayer or even meditation...

Yes I believe in magic and I believe spells as well. Magic can be anything and everything that there is no formal explanation for. Spells are prayers and affirmations and pleads to the Mother and/or Father for things we want and need.

i do not believe in magic or spells in a way as they are far from truth in this world which has its grounds but thinking if their exists God. then it is also possible theri exists a form of magic that is playing in the world. also i am doing scientific research and it is possible to do things using science that is pure magic. so i do not believe in the spells or magic as in harry potter but i do know that the magic exists as we exist

I don't believe in spells but i do agree that there are a lot of things in this world that are difficult to explain. We just haven't reached a level at which we can understand them. Maybe one day we will.

I don't believe them fully but based on our tradition and cultural beliefs here in my country, I tend to nod on those supernatural acts at times. In the Philippines, you'll come across with a lot of situations and phenomenon where certain group of people believed to have been inflicted with some magical tricks or spells. There are times that it's really convincing because some people would even show their magical spells to others. I dunno. It's really out-of-this world. lol.

I believe in the magic of a darkened theater or a moonlit night. Other than that, I think what you're trying to describe is the "numinous" (I think I spelled that right), the mystical and mysterious stuff that we all "feel" out there but can't describe or touch. The wondrous, the unexpected, they're all there and true and real enough... but I believe more in combining herbs to cook with than to spell with. Though aromatherapy can be useful now and then.
