I have a 9 yr old son, he's turning 10 this yr. The problem with him is he's always on the go and there wasn't a dull moment for him. When everyone else were tired and all knocked out, he's still on the go. He always find something or anything to do, when he can't find any activity at all, he'll cry. The worst problem is, he sleeps at 2 to 3 in the morning and wake up at 9 or 10am. Even when im so tired from the whole day's work, i can't rest nor sleep and leave him by himself. Aside from being hyperactive, he eats like grown man and u can hardly get his focus on something. Im a single mom and im really having a hard time coping up. Can anybody tell me what i have to do to solve my child's sleeping problem?

The reason I'm answering this discussion,is because I experienced a hyper stepson myself! And what a lot of people don't know is that there are some foods out there that actually increase the activity in a hyper child! And let me tell you what we found out! We discovered that just a simple fruit, apples, was increasing the hyperactivity of our son! I couldn't believe it,myself! And the way we found out, is we were instructed to take him to a psychologist, and he is the one that mentioned it to us, and sure enough, we discovered that apples were making him more hyper! And another thing that we discovered was that phsyical activity on some persons will wear them down, but on our stepson, it was actually winding him up more, just like a wind-up clock!! When we discoverd all of this, we had a much better way of coping with him!!
