I'm Back - and ready for myLot:)

Well, as I posted this past Friday I took the weekend off from myLot, the first since I joined. I did manage to NOT respond to a single discussion and DID NOT play myLot detective one single time.
Here's a partical list of what I DID DO:
My fingernails - they are looking great.
Wrote a short story for my "book" to be a collection of stories.
Cleaned house - it's looking the best it has in weeks.
Read, Read, and Read some more - mostly techie stuff but was actually able to concentrate on it.
Spent a lot of time in bible study and prayers - on and off all through both days, just whenever the feeling hit me.
I did read all of my friends discussions (proud of myself for resisting the urge to respond).
I napped on and off a lot.
And, made a major purchase for myself, a new digital camera, have been wanting a new one for some time but kept finding other things I needed - this was just a I wanted:).
Signed up for a couple new 'money making' programs.
Organized a ton of old photos I have on my computer.
No, I didn't enjoy a sunset in Hawaii but was a good weekend.
Think that's about it but looking at this list it's amazing how much I accomplished when NOT on myLot:) Think I need to take some time off more often.
So, my questions: What did you do with your weekend? Are you satisfied with how you spent your time? Is there something you would have rather done?

Hi faith, seems like you're back in shape again. I think I'm the one who's going to lay low for a while in the next few days. My mind is not working properly for now. During the weekend, I went for a hair spa, manicure and pedicure. I have my nails and toes painted a soft lilac color. Tomorrow, I'm going to try that foot massage you're telling me about. Hopefully, it can help me recharge and refocus my mind again. I will still try to log in from time to time to check on your discussions. God bless you.

Oh I would love to go get a full spa treatment but just not in my budget. I went with clear polish as who know's when I'll get around to doing them again - clear isn't so noticable when it starts peeling and chipping. I am not going to be spending as much time on mylot as I have been. Got another e-book assignement so will be working on that and going to concintrate more on other writing and photography.

LOL - well I'll try but no promises. Little annoyed with mylot right now, woke up at 3:30 this morning and responded to 25-30 discussions from my friends, started this discussion, uploaded a picture and I got no earnings. I know there are glitches but if I don't get paid I won't be doing a whole lot on here as I do have to earn money also.

Hey funny you mention the mountians - yes I would like to be there also. Late Saturday my oldest son called from Colorado - I so very much would love to go visit but not in the budget. Sad thing is he's invited my youngest (his little brother) to come for Spring break and possibly come work for him for the summer. Has his own business and can't seem to find good workers - he knows youngest will do good work, follow directions (or he'll stomp on him), and they both miss each other. Oldest offered to pay for tickets for his brother :( not for Mom though :(

Well you got tons of stuff done! So far, (still have one more day off) I've read some in the Bible, watched some tv, finished a book I was reading, played on mylots, napped a lot...nothing too productive.

It sounds like so far you've had a very nice weekend. I may do that next weekend but I do have a problem with just taking a break and relaxing - have to be doing something all the time. I am going to start trying to just take more quiet time though.

Good for you, my weekend, which was unusual was spent on myLot, usually I have so many fun things that I do that I never have time to get on, but my boyfriend went away this weekend on a camping trip that I decided not to go on and so I was left to do what I pleased. The house was so quiet I LOVED it, I spent cleaning, cooking what I wanted to cook and watching all those wonderful cooking, decorating and soap operas that I can never watch when the whole family is around. I also was able to rearrange the house without any interference with family walking around. When he returned I was refreshed, happy and rested, what a better way to be when your loved one returns home. Glad you had a good weekend, take care!

OH, rearrange furniture is something I want to do - youngest may be going to Colorado to spend spring break with oldest son and I'm hoping to do the living room while he's gone.

Yes, some think of time off as total time off but mine was more just time off from mylot - I have not gotten a lot of other, more important things done since I joined mylot.

welcome back ms.faith! what a very productive weekend..lots of accomplishments there huh! and congrats on your new digicam..I've been wanting to get my self one too, am still praying for it.
as for my weekend, nothing much..the only difference from my usual busy weekneds is that last Saturday, I attended 2 kiddie parties. The first one was the mini-carnival organized by our church for the less fortunate kids we are teaching and feeding every saturday,it was a treat for them for finishing another school year.They were so happy! The other party is a first b-day party for my boss' granddaughter. It was tiring but I also enjoyed it.

Oh what a wonderful thing your church is doing, I am sure it's a blessing to many. Kids parties can be exhausting.

You are very organised. One has to be when they have a lot going on in their lives.
Purchasing a digital camera is exciting. Now you will be able to take your own photos & put them on My Lot.
My weekend? Saturday was spent at a swimming carnival.
Sunday was spent washing, ironing, cooking, reading & My Lot.

Actually I'm hoping to get into selling photos online. I also invested in a program with lots of information on how to make money with photos. I love writing but it is very time consuming and am thinking I can break up my writing with doing photography which I've also always loved.

wow...it seems to me that you needed a pause and that you were experience a sort of mylot addiction!!! it is not a good thing to depend on something..and it is important not to lose contact with our everyday life..so I am happy you enjoyed your time and bought a little present to you. I wish my weekends lasted more than one or two days!!! I have always so much to do..there is the house to be cleaned, thre are hair, nails and body who need some special attentions and then there are hobbies (the gym, dancing, going our with friends for shopping or cinemas or having dinner together) ...I like reading, and writing and I am trying to teach myself chess!!!now I long for next weekend...and oh I would love to go to the Hawaii!!!

LOl I posted on my lot and played my on line games I play. Oh i went shopping on Sunday. Today i found out i got accepted to the "writers room" At the library which makes me happy because only a few get accepted so I was very happy about that. means i can go to the library and have my own room to write and not have to worry about anyone stealing my things. Its a lockable room and only I will have th key for that time period. I feel so important now. YAY!!

Welcome back, I am pleased you had a weekend to yourself and doing what you like, I sometimes wonder if we spend too much time on the computer what with one site or another, I have also limited myself to the amount of time I spend on mylot as I have a few other sites I am a member of and they have been a bit lacking of late. My weekends consist of house cleaning (well it's a flat) visiting my aged parents, walking around my mothers large garden, grocery shopping. Keep up the good work and will see you here. God Bless.

as usual, in weekend, we often hv a good diner along with some good friends.we go to kala ok or something else, you know , after a week hard working, we dont want to do any thing about job ,just want to let our head relex .now I find another thing , it make a crasy, that is exchnange idle with friends from all of the world in my lot.
it is a good relextion to me.

woww... you managed to get lots of things done during your day offs from mylot... that's really good... i didn't really do much on my weekends... i work on sunday from morning to afternoon... then i go to my church to have a choir practice... after that i go to an italian restaurant to have dinner with my hubby... on sunday, it is my father-in-law 60th b'day... so, i wash my car in the morning then go to his b'day celebration in the afternoon... after that i go grocery shopping... then go home to have a nap because my husband is having quite a bad cold... then go to church for service until night time... after that i go home, prepare our dinner and lunch for the following day, surf the internet and then sleep... that's about it... :-)

Good for you. I think everyone needs to take some time off when mylot gets to be stressful. It can give you a new perspective on things before you get too stressed. Life is stressful enough without having to have stress on here too. Welcome back and I am glad that you are renewed adn ready to go

Well congratulations on all the fun things you did! I actually haven't been on Mylot for a while either. This is my first time posting again since the 20th, so I really need to catch up before the end of the month, so I can have a pretty nice payout next month! Lol...it's very weird not to post on here..but I've just been so busy working and babysitting. Well, welcome back to both of us!

I spent most of the weekend packing because I'm getting ready to move. Saturday though, my sister and brother-in-law were here and they got to see my new puppies.
I worked my tail off for my speech class, and then my computer broke! And, of course, church was Sunday morning.
Glad to have you back. If only we could see thos fine lookin' nails you have now!

well i worked in office as usual talking to customers from around the world nd my lotting at the same time.i am not an addict to my lot.i can stay out of it if i want to but i really like it here.well usually on my days off i just laze around or go to some music or try to catch some movie or something like that.i usually go on outings with my brother and my cousins and have a lot of fun then.

Wow! You've been busy! I didn't spend much time on mylot this weekend either. The weather has been beautiful, so we've been outside lot. Ran some errands, tried to get some chores done. That's about it. Kind of relaxing though.
