If I used a bathing suit Pic for Avatar, would I get more responses?

Does using a bathing suit Avatar get you more reponses? Do you think most people that do that are really using their own pics?

i guess the opposite gender would be attracted, you might get more than just responses - that is if you look good in your bathing suit :) I don't pay attention to avatar sometimes but sure it attracts my attention if they have funny avatars like flintstones or desiderata, but doesn't mean I will respond all the time

Avatars serve a purpose by attracting the attention, but unless the discussion is worthwhile then an avatar alone will not generate a good response. There may be a lot of members that disagree with me, but I can only speak from personal experience. One thing I am certain of is that if I wore a bathing suit then everyone would avoid me.

No, I don't think so. I look more to what you are discussing rather than what your picture looks like. I do like the avatar you're using right now, though.
