I live in a beautiful part of the world and when I have something to think through or something is troubling me, I will go walking in the countryside around my home, what do you do?

Eskarena that is a wonderful place to do some walking and get lost in the calm. Something I would enjoy as well. A bit difficult in this jungle of concrete I live in, but still there are some nice parks close by, that will give me a bit of quiet and peace. I often go walk there.

Sounds beautiful to me. I used to live in the country and I have always enjoyed walking but now I live in the city so I just go watch tv or use the computer.

I love walking around but I don't live in the country side and anyway I love the towns, big cities, people and all wrong things of a big city. So often I walk in my city (as you do in the countryside) doing the same things. Probably it is not healthing as can be in the nature but I love it.

I take one of our huskies with me on a very long walk. The area around us is mainly agriculture but it is quickly changing. It is only a skip and a jump to the country lane across the road from us. It is a single track road. If you time it right, there is little traffic. You can just wander to your hears content. If you do the 5 mile circuit it will take you around past the battlefield. Usually by the time I get back I have things sorted out. There are woods nearby and a lot of the time I pop in there. I am very much a forest loving person, find a log and just sit there, drink in the beauty of the woods and just let my mind wander.............

I love walking in the countryside, its the best. For now I live in the city, but at least I'm near the ocean, so I walk to the ocean when I need a good walk.

Well now I take Gissi out and a lot of things get thought over while I am walking, but only since I live here as where I lived before wasn't that nice to walk the air was not clean and here it is. I used to get in the car and drive and think about what is troubling me.

I live in the urban district. What I do, I go to the tracks in our neighborhood PSJA High School from Monday through Thursday and walk about two miles. It really helps me to get moving and gives me energy for the rest of the day.

I love walking in the country and also hiking in the mountains. I find it so cleansing. Many times when I want to think, I will get in my car and just drive.

I work on a barrier island that has tourist attractions, towns that are really only in operation during the summer. they are beautiful, and when I go outside for a break and watch the people on vacation, walking with their friends and famillies, and see all the lights in the trees and feel the soft warm air- I am happiest. I feel as though my spirit is refreshed in watching and listening as people stroll by, laughing softly, talking happily, most having a relaxed and pleasant time. this does more for me than fields, woods, the ocean ever has.
