Hey everyone ..I was wondering how many of you guys actually cook for someone else or their families ... When you do, how do you decide what you are going to prepare ..is it a difficult choice every day or is it a pre-made list made at the beginning of the week and your set for the rest of the week ? How does it work for you?

I cook everyday for my hubby and me, and that's usually dinner. Hubby doesn't come home for lunch so I figured he would feel good to have a good hot meal for dinner:) I don't go by a list and decide everything at the spur of the moment..lol! Sometimes it can be a pain deciding what to make...hehe

wow, i used to cook everyday, when i stayed at home with the kids. nowadays the family doesn't even eat at the same time anymore with different schedules. i would say about once or twice a week i cook something, and its not really anything good, something from the freezer.. or a boxed meal. we are all so busy, it isn't at all possible to make a meal everyday. fend for yourselves i say!

Practically every day I cooked for my family. It will be a simple dish like soup, vegetable and fried fish during weekdays. Weekend normally will be a complete dining experience where I prepare breakfast, lunch, tea time break and dinner. It can be sandwiches for breakfast, briyani for lunch, some malay kueh for tea time and fried noodle for dinner. Tired preparing, but when all the food is gone, the satisfaction suppressed the tiredness.

Lately, I've been cooking almost everyday for the family since my mom's busy with the business. I usually get a nice cookbook, see if something there suits the family diet then cook it. =) I also see if we have something available in the fridge then build on what's already in there. ^__^
