Tell me what TV show I SHOULD be watching?

Lately, I've not really watched much serial TV shows. I watch 'Dirty Jobs', and I watch 'Bones.' You nay catch me watching 'Forensic Files' as well, but the rest of the time I'll watch whatever sport is in season. OK, and I admit, I also watch 'Dancing with the Stars.' So I want to find a good show to watch. Tell mw what show I should be watching and why. Maybe someone will introduce me to a show and I'll turn into a faithful viewer.

The Shield is going to premiere April 3rd. It's one of my favorites, but you might not be coming in at a good time, since something major just happened during the last season, and you kinda need to know what's going on. I would tell you, but if you watch re-runs or something then I wouldn't want to spoil it.

They are actually going to give The Shield one more season after this becuase they don't want it to end on such a down note.

So there will be a 7th season, or are you talking about the one that's going to premiere next week, season 6?

I love to watch programs about garden and home improvement. Most of Extreme Home Makover programs are really great, the designers are so gifted. And they often help people who really deserve it.

I used to watch Home Makeover ALL the time. I love to see people who had no visible hope go to having everything they want and need at their fingertips!

I would highly recommend House and the entire cast is great. There is never a problem on the set and everyone enjoys working together. The young couple are engaged in real life and they were really priceless tonight. I'm planning to buy the show on DVD and there aren't many shows I think are that great.

I personally only watch homes in regards to real estate because all of the others seem to be a waste of my time. I like "Flip this house" and "Flip that house" because on occasion they will give me some ideas for my next investment.

From what it looks like, a show I watch religiously might be something you would like. Numbers is a CSI-style cop drama, but using math. It doesn't sound that interesting, but great acting turns by its stars, especially David Krumholtz who plays young math savant Charlie Epps who helps out his FBI agent brother solving cases. I've been watching it since it started and really like it.

My sister said that is a really good show. I mostly remember David Krumholtz as the elf in the Tim Allen 'Santa Claus' movies, but it is great to see him in something that showcases more of his grown up talents. I think I'll check online and see when it airs.

He's always done younger fare, but does really well in this role. It gave me a new respect for him.

I like Law and Order SVU. It is a great crime drama and deals effectively with the human emotion side of the people who work to capture and prosecute criminals. The other Law and Order shows have become stale over the years, but SVU is still able to bring you into the story line and keep you hooked. The stories are well written and the actors know their characters well. I would highly recommend it if you haven't had the chance to watch it.

I wish i knew what you liked. One of my favorite series just aired their season finale. It is the L Word. And my second favorite is about to air their final season, The Sopranos.Another series that I love is Miami Ink. It is a show about a tattoo shop. You get to hear the story behind the tattoo. You get to see the artist create the tattoo. It is addictive. Some of the stories are sad but they all are powerful.

I have a friend who always said she'd never get a tattoo, but is addicted to watching Miami Ink. She is so fascinated and she likes to tell me about some of the people who come in there. Like the lady who had alopecia and got a butterfly on her head?

Oh yes. I remember her. She was so positive and she looked great bald. Yes, a beautiful, bald woman with a butterfly tattoo on her head.I like it when Kat does a memorial tattoo.Or when she did a tattoo for a husband. He wanted a tattoo of his wife's wedding day picture. It was her anniversary present.Try Miami Ink. But be warned , it is addictive.

I agree with a previous response in saying, Heroes is the show you should watch. That show has a ending that is always, "to be continued." It keeps you on the edge of your seat and it throws twist and turns in there like no other. Another good show I would recommend is Grey's Anatomy. I have been hooked on Grey's Anatomy since day one. It has drama but it also has graat ER cases. I would suggest either one of these shows as something you could get hooked on. However, Heroes may be a little hard for you to follow unless you watch the previous episodes on the web to get caught up!

Supernatural is a really good show! Great actors, fun shows every week! its great! It mixes horror with very well done comedy! lol. And you just fall in love with the characters. I def. recommend Supernatural to you. Its on WB (newly called CM i think) on Thursdays. I would also recommend Grey's Anatomy. This is a funny hospital show with a great cast! Last but not least I would recommend Friends, I never watched it before. And one Day I decided to buy the first seaosn on dvd, I fell in love and now I have all 10 seasons on dvd!!! You dont have to buy them though, you would always rent.

I used to watch almost every season of Friends while it aired on NBC. The early years especially are very funny. And Supernatural is awesome, you are right about that! It airs on the CW and I watched the first season. I don't know why this season I kinda slacked off on keeping up with it. I SHOULD start watching it again. Thanks for the recommendations. : )

It's probably not for everyone, but I'm hooked on this show, as is my family, it's Dexter. Dexter is a serial killer who only kills other serial killers. He does this because his foster father was a cop and he wanted to give him some guidance to control his urges to kill. He goes through his life trying to act normal, faking human emotions. He seems very nice and polite, and jokes around with everyone. Most people like him except for one of the cops who for some reason has it in for him, and gives him a hard time. Dexter has a job as a blood splatter expert for the police department in Miami. Every character on the show is interesting. Dexter's sister Deb is on the police force, and hasn't got a clue as to Dexter's secret life, as he helps her find clues to killers. He also has a girlfriend with two kids who he seems to care for even though he denies it.

When I first heard of 'Dexter,' I thought, who could have thought of this concept? It's pretty clever. Unfortunately, I don't have Showtime.

I don't have showtime either, but I saw Dexter at my daughter's house, and I was hooked right away. She recorded all the Dexters so I could watch them.

There are many other good dramas out there. You've got all three CSI's, with the original being the best, and almost any drama on FX (Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, Dirt, The Riches - with the great Eddie Izzard), HBO has Entourage. This just names a few more. TV is my thing. LOL.

you definitely should tune into 24! its on every monday on fox at 9, sometimes a 2hr special at 8 but from the beginning of the season til the end it's greatness. It isnt a show that comes back for every single season it comes back once a year which keeps it suspenseful and more people wait it out, i've watched seasons 3-6 (6 is now) and ive loved it, i was 13 whenever i started watching...its mainly about terrorism and one guy named jack bauer who owns every terrorist but always seems to fall in love then lose his loved one ha.

Actually, I truly believe that your selection of shows is not bad at all. As a matter of fact, I have found myself constantly inclined more towards the forensics type. For example, there was a period of time when I was so obsessed with CSI (Vegas) that I actually signed up for BlockBuster online and got EVERY single season until I was updated to their very last episode. You are not alone! Later on I decided to give Grey's Anatomy a shot. Why? Well, it wasn't necessarily my preference, especially when it constantly deals with involvement of romantic relationships. At the same time, my focus shifted from something more "science" related, into something more abstract (perhaps love??). Check it out, and see what you think.

I like Bones too. Have you ever watched House? It doesn't have all the melodrama of Grey's Anatomy or ER but it has weird and interesting cases. It's always a mystery and always something weird. Almost forensics except the person is still alive.

I really think I should watch that. I've seen clips and I enjoy the brief minutes of those. I also find the star, Hugh Laurie quite a character. I don't know how English people drop their accents to play Americans.

After reading your list of what you view. I think we are very different when it comes to TV. I watch CSI Numbers The Unit NCIS I enjoy them because they are action packed and yet not rated "R" LOL I hate the other CSI's such as Miami or New York. They are just too dirty for my viewing but I love the original CSI. I like a story that is interesting and has some substance to it. I dont watch rality shows because they have too many loosers and I like to think we are all winners.

Oh, NCIS! When I'm with my parents on a Tuesday night, that is what we are watching. They have never seen any of the first season, so I bought my dad the first season for his birthday. If you like CSI, then you would like Bones, I think. And Forensic Files on CourTV is like a CSI, just everything is truly real and actually did happen.

I like Eureka on Sci-fi. It is curently playing reruns of the past season but hopefully a new season will start soon. Now would be a great time to catch up with it. It is a show that is based in the furture around a small town entirely where scientist live.

The main shows I've been watching are "American Idol" and "House". I don't do a lot of TV watching lately... But for you I'd probably recommend "House". It's informative, funny, addictive. Every time there is a new and unique case that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's one of my favorite shows.
