What is your favorite book of all times? have you ever read a book twice or more times? Actually I haven't read a single book more than one time, even if I liked it a lot. I think it is a waste of time, but maybe you have another view on this. Please let me know.

Hi Soleya, for now, the book I enjoy the most is a novel by Dan Brown, Angel & Demons, and also The Da Vinci Code. I've read it more than once during my spare time, and now that I'm planning to visit Rome, I want to read it again, so if I have time while I'm there, I can probably visits the places told in book. I'm excited about it...:-)

wow! thank you for your response. I think it is great idea to visit the places that you read about in the book, I was always dreaming to do so, but never actually did it. after you come back from Rome please let me know how it was? was it just as you imagined for yourself or a little bit different.

My favorite book of all time is reading inspirational books. I enjoy reading those kind of books because it keeps me inspired. Yes, I did read a book twice even more times. I like reading books over and over again most especially if it is a really good book.

I have a lot of books I like very well, but no one favorite. And I've read some books two or three times. A very few, I've read four or five times. Of course, if you're reading just for entertainment, it is probably a waste of time to read anything more than once. Most books written for entertainment aren't worth reading more than once.

I like reading a book more than once, because, to me, it's like revisiting an old friend, or an familiar place. It's about comfort. If I'm in a bad mood, I go read this book, and it instantly makes me feel better. But my mother is like you, and thinks it's a waste of time to read the same book when you already know the ending, and doesn't get why I like to buy books instead of getting them from the library. My favorite book would probably be either Pride or Prejudice, or the Harry Potter books. Two completely different genres, but two completely amazing books.

one of my all time fav books is "milk run" by sarah mylonoski (sp). it is such a laugh. I enjoyed it so much i've read it a couple of more times. It goes hand in hand with "he's just not into you" which is from the writers of s3x in the city and is a non-fiction book while milk run is fiction. I also have a lot of non fiction books that i use quite often, as they are more reference books than anything else, so they get used a lot. if i really enjoyed a book i'll buy it and read it again, otherwise i just go to the library and borrow books out, otherwise it gets way too expensive. everyone is different.

I'm torn between 3 -- Roots by Alex Haley, Catcher in the Rye by Salinger and The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. Five... is a book you want to read if you're feeling very sappy, Catcher if you're reminiscent and Roots if you just want a very good story.
