"Blessed Be"

Does a supposed Christian say "blessed be?" If so, that phrase has NOTHING to do with God. GOD ALMIGHTY, Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End!!! If your in the presence of someone who uses this term in reference 2 God, Jesus Christ, betta get back, quick!!

I always thought it was wiccans who use the term blessed be. I have never thought it to be a christian saying. I might be wrong but that is what I had thought.

Oh, it most definitely is a wiccan's term. It has nothiing to do with God. It's a covered up curse. That's what it is.

Wait that's not fair! You have to say WHY? because I don't get it. Why is saying that really bad for a Christian? Sorry if I seem ignorant but I really want to know.

I don't know what all of you are talking about, but I am a Christian and was raised in the Christain church and we used the term blessed be to God all the time. If you are a Christian, how are you so familiar with what the wiccans say anyway. I have never known or come across any wiccans, so I can not agree to whether this is their term or not. I didn't even realize that the world had become this twisted. I need to return to my happy place in God, because these worldly things that you guys are talking about are really confusing.

Um..I've never known a christian to say "Blessed be" unless to a wiccan or pagan..usually as a sign of respect or affection.
'Cause it is our saying. Nope it's not christian..I have no idea what sane person would claim it WAS. But what does it matter who uses it anyway?

Yes, Newbeginnigs, that term has nothing to do with the name and divinity of Jesus Christ. I will continue to say blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Whose I am and Whom I serve. I'll always give Him the praise and the Glory, forever and ever.
