FYI: I just learned it last night from tv patrol that senator kiko pangilinan joined the friendster's list. you can view his account at www.friendster.com/senkiko.
don't get me wrong! i am not campaigning or endorsing him in anyway.
i even don't know if i will include him in my list on election day.
i am just curious on what he wrote about himself in friendster. and lastly, what could be his main reason why he got the friendster account. is he looking for someone better than sharon? is he scouting anyone to be his daughters' boyfriends? or is he counting on your votes? whatever be his reasons...don't judge him...because he is not a "BOOK" anyway(according to Melanie Marquez)...ang tao nga naman...hahanap hanap ng paraan para makakuha ng boto...OOOOppppssss..sorry.

I just added his account =). If only I can vote, I'll surely vote for him, not because his wife is popular. I just personally think he is good by heart.

I am 26.. But I just moved here in US last september. I know filipinos whoa re in foreign countries can still vote but I just moved here and been through a lot too...
I did vote when I was still in pinas.

yep basically you're right. It's one of he's campaign strategies to probably gather additional votes. Also, I think he made a friendster account so that he can lessen his campaign expenses. He wouldn't have to go to different places where people don't know him that much. They can just browse his profile on the net, all about his background whether educational or professional experiences and recent political activities he has been indulged. Lastly on my side, he's a good senator based on his records of performances and his "soon to be implemented" plantilla for the country is a bang.

I guess he's reaching and wooing for the Vote of the Youth Sector. I would say a its a very good strategy for his campaign. It is also a very cost effective gimmick to do since it does not need any money to be able to reach out to voters in Friendster. I will not be surprised if sooner or later other candidates will follow suit and have their accounts opened in Friendster too. The fact that Comelec has no ruling against using it why not utilized it to your gain.

exactly..precisely...you hit it my friend. there are a lot of youth enrolled in friendster and the most practical way to reach them is thru this site. do you want sen kiko to be mylotter,too? why don't we invite him here? lol
