Can you believe, gas prices have gone up about .40 cents in the last two weeks.

The gas station by my house is 3.31 as of yesterday. I went to the grocery store around 10am and when I was coming home I saw that gas went up by 10 cents in one hour! (we live in southern california)

They vary a lot in my country. Yesterday we decided to go for a drive in the country and we stopped to get diesel. It cost 99 cents per litre which wasn't too bad. As we passed another garage on our travels, we saw the the diesel was €1.10 per litre. Petrol costs a few cents more per litre.

I live in Northern Illinois, about 90 miles from Chicago. Gas prices have gone from $2.15 up to $2.69 a gallon in the last couple weeks. It's ridiculous! It ticks me off that all these oil companies are posting record earnings, and yet the consumers are paying such outrageous prices! Rumor has it gas prices will drop mid April, and I don't even begin to understand it, that's just what I heard.
