what was the Basic Theme of the moive TERMINATOR??

I think the basic theme of the movie and the series as a whole is don't rely so much on technology. If we let it run out lives without any human oversight, we're way too likely to get screwed in the end.

it is a machine world.. Terminator...one of the strongest charector in hollywood...well iam talking about the film...i like it very much....In the three sequels i like the second part most... I actually hate the third part but i am forced to see because of it was the terminator...I want to come back terminator with the direction of james cameroon... Thank you...
